Question
Why does my 6 year old female jack russel love to lay in white clover, in the sun and snap at and eat little honey bees.........I love my dog....she is so funny

Answer
Hi Scott;
Because dogs ARE funny little critters, and as long as they are not stinging her, there is no harm in it. When she gets stung, bet she will not do it anymore.
My Sheltie chases flies outside. He catches quite a few too, and he just acts like he is playing some silly game.
He also chases and barks at the shadows of the leaves on the ground. Wjen the wind blows the trees.
He will chase any shadow, and when there is not a grandchild on the swing to make it move so he can chase the shadow, he runs under the swing to make it move.
Jack Russells ar funnier than a lot of breeds, just as shelties and Border Collies are. They can do some funny things hat make them laugh.
Dogs like attention, and like 2 legged children, if they can get you to laugh at them, sometimes they will run it into the ground.
My 9 year old Australian shephers still has to show me how eell he can dig, every time I go out to the back yard with them.
Dogs are very much "Look what I can do" creatures, and love to get attention.
My Aussie digs, and when he throws up a clod of dirt, he spins and tries to catch it before it hits the ground.
Naturally, we laugh, so he really gets into doinf it when he gets a laugh.
As long as she isn't getting stung by the bees, I would just watch her, laugh and have fun with her.
