Question
Hi there, Thanks so much for your response to my two questions.  I tried to hit the button for the follow up question but it didn't seem to be working.  Anyway, to give you a little more background on her health, she has pancreatitis.  I adopted her from the SPCA where they had spent a few months trying to figure out what her health condition was.  They finally diagnosed her and I was able to adopt her.  When I first brought her home she was very underweight at 12 lbs.  Now she's about 18 lbs and very healthy and strong.  I have to give her pancreatic enzymes in all of her food and it seems to do the trick.  Every now and then she'll get into something she shouldn't eat and she'll get very sick but it usually just lasts until it's out of her system.

I wasn't sure that the chewing was something to take her to the vet for but now it sounds like it could be.  Thanks so much for your informative answer.

Answer
Natalie,

Since your girly has pancreas problems, you are going to have to be careful about the food she eats and that is going to limit what you can do with her as far as food sensitivities are concerned. Just make sure that the level of fat in her food is on the lower side and that she doesn't eat too much. Also, keep adding those enzymes :)

Let me know how it goes!
