LOSING HAIR

MY 8 MONTH OLD DOG IS LOSING ALOT MORE HAIR THEN IT USE TO.

IS IT SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT

DO THEY LOSE PUPPY HAIR?

Hi Olivia, many dogs when they are puppies, they have like a baby fur which they loose and then get their adult growth hair, which is sometimes shorter or longer and usually not quite as soft as the baby fur like hair. There are many different skin conditions a dog could have but this sounds to me like he is just going through the stage from puppy to dog.  Just keep an eye out for any severe dry skin, cuts, sores, or bald spots, if that starts to occur take him right to the vet, I hope this helped, Angela
