Question
My dog has only been with me for 4 months and he is a mess .
He's not only a wolf hybrid but he is also a hurricane Katrina victim. Lately I bought him a bone and that's when all the trouble started he growled protecting his bone and I yelled and chased him in the house when I should have been a bit more understanding and careful.
He growled at me again and now is very afraid of me.
what should I do to correct this and try to gain some trust and respect from my dog.

JC, you have to remember that wolf hybrids can often retain quite a bit of their wildness, which can make them difficult to handle and train. Wolves do not respond to training like dogs do. Normally, I would suggest obedience training, but I do not have any experience with wolf-dogs, so I would suggest that you try and find a trainer or behaviorist in your area that can help you. Perhaps the local wildlife rehab center can help point you in the right direction.
