average weight gain in puppies

Are you able to give me a guestimate of what an average weight gain would be in a newborn puppy?  I know they should double their weight in about a week but was curious if there is an average out there.  Specifically I am referring to labs.  No problem if you can't answer.

I've only had miniature schnauzer puppies, so I really don't know about labs. I've read that a puppy should gain about 5-10% of its birth weight daily, and most do double their weight by one week.

I do weigh my puppies at birth, but I really don't bother much after that anymore unless I have one that I am concerned about. With experience, one can tell just by picking up a puppy if it is thriving.
