Hair loss in dog

I have a 1yr old cross bread puppy, who has balding eyes and large amounts of hair loss all over her coat, her medium length hair has went very short,her quite bushy tail has went thin, and she has balding armpits and recent small bad patches at her back end, what could this be? and do i need to get her to the vet? it has become worse since she was picked up by the dog pound and spent 3 days there, has lost alot of weight is not her usual self and not eating or drinking much, she has also been sick

Yes, you need to have your dog examined by your veterinarian. There is a good chance your dog has a Thyroid condition.

Please do not delay in having her treated, it sounds like this has been going on for some time, and it's not something that will just go away on it's own.
