heart rate

Question
we have  a  13  yr  old  tan  lab  he  is  having  a  hard time standing  up  i  feel he is  coming to the end  can  you tell  me  what his heart  rate  should  be

Hi, here is a really good site about heart matters in Greyhounds, but the information pretty much fits all canines.  A normal aged dog's heart rate should be between 60-80 beats per minute.  I would check out this site, it has a lot of good information on heart problems.
