Answer
There is nothing wrong with bathing your dog. It does not dry the skin out. What dries the skin out is if you don't rinse the soap out. So go ahead and bathe as often as you like..just rinse and rinse again.  As far as the dander, I would be most interested to know what you are feeding him?  Diet is the biggest factor when it comes to skin and coat condition. He may not be getting enough fat in his diet. Look at his dog food bag...the first ingredient listed should be meat of some kind..not corn. If you are feeding a quaility food and still have the dander, try adding a capful of peanut oil to his food. It may take up to 6 weeks before you notice any difference. It may also stem from allergies if a change in diet doesn't help him. Let me know how things go.
