i let my yorki go outside to unload the bladder and she saw a a frog but didnt eat it i think she only liked it because wen i picked her up she had alot of bubbly saliva in her mouth so i rinsed it with water and im very consered that can kill my puppy..thank you for your help

I am assuming that this was actually a toad and not a frog since most frogs are found close to water and toads are often found wandering around our yards in their search for insects.

Toads can secrete a substance through their skin when picked up that apparently has a vile taste and can make the dog salivate and "foam up". (Snakes can also do that.) Some toads can be quite toxic and have been known to kill dogs, so if you are not sure what kind of toad it was, you should have your dog examined by a veterinarian to be sure that she is okay.
