im confussed

i have a female alsatian which bought as apuppy for the purpose of breeding and making aliving from the sales of the puppies but over time i've been able to accomplish these. so for three years i've not been able to take the dog for mating and a friend says it will never give birth again as by now it would be in its menopus stage "you know menopus like old women" pls is these true cause its expensive getting a dog in these part of the world

Of course they get too old to breed.
That is a TERRIBLE reason for having a dog.
Breeding them as often as they come into season and then discarding them is horrible and cruel.
Having a fine blooded dog, and breeding them once, every 2 or 3 years, to a dog whose bloodline will only improve the breed is what is responsible breeding.
These people who breed like that hold their dogs in high esteem, and they treat them like family members, and love them.
If you want to breed animals to make a living, choose, chickens, hogs or cattle.
