eye contour discoloration

Hi, I own a 6 year old, 24 pound, mixed breed (golden / mini-colley)since she was 3 months old.  I always teased about how lucky she was to have permanent make-up (black lip contour and black eye contour as if she had put black pencil all around her eyes.  I have noticed that the black around her eyes is changing to a light pinkish color around both eyes but not one eye any quicker than the other and not in any specific area other than the contour.  She now looks more like she has a pinkish contour with black eyeliner here and there.  Other than this discoloration, she is in good health and is as playful as ever.  Is this normal?  Thanx for your help!!  Happy New Year!

Hi Carole-

It is completely normal for the "eyeliner" to come and go, especially in golden mixes. Some goldens and golden mixes are born with entirely black skin that fades as they grow! I'm sure she is absolutely adorable. Enjoy her, and thanks for rescuing!
