dog eating poop

Question
Hi, my 6mo. old Scotty continues to eat poop.  I really think she thinks she is cleaning up after herself.  We have used 3 different meds on her food to discourage this behavior and they do not work.  Any other ideas for us?  I wonder if she is missing some mineral or something. What do you think?  Thanks.

Some dogs get in the habit from birth...Cherie;
It is very difficult now at this age to break this habit!!
I would definitely watch her where she goes, and clean it up immediately. Poop eating creates more tartar on the teeth, as well as reinfests the dog with parasites,etc. Worm her several times, as she could be lacking her nutrients from parasitic activity!
Do use "Panacur" or Safeguard, as prescribed.
And do it again in about 14 days.
This will catch the eggs!
