Question
Hi Amanda,  I have a 6-Mo female puppy.  We adopted her from a local shelter 4 month ago.  She has two loose baby pointing teeth won't come off (up and down on the same side of her month) and adult teeth have already fully grown.  Should we have these teeth pulled by a vet?  Can any vet handling this?

Thank you for your help.  Best regards,
John

Answer
Any vet should be able to remove any retained deciduous teeth that she may have and with minimal anesthesia.  Since she is only 6 months old, unless she is having problems with the retained teeth, you can also give it a little more time to see if they will fall out on their own.  Since you got her from a shelter I'm assuming she's already spayed, but if not the vet should be able to remove those teeth at the same time.
