maltese tear staining

Hi i have a Maltese at 10 month he suffers from bad tear staining it is not a medical problem as we have seen the vet however i was wondering if you could give me any tips on how to eradicate this ? it makes him look so dirty, when he has had a bath it does improve however it is beginning to clump.

Lucy, Once I tell you the secret your going to be so amazed.
It doesn't work over night but you will notice a difference in a month or so. We all drink many minerals that we are not aware of in our drinking water. These minerals show up in dogs in their tear ducks. So we need to eliminate the chemicals which means drinking Distilled Water. Show people with Bishon Frise and Maltese have given the dogs distilled water from the water bottle for years. The bottle is the ones you see bunnies drinking out of in the pet stores. They can be picked up at any pet store in your area. It takes a little coaxing but the dog learns in no time to lick the little ball. It helps with matting around the mouth area and the dripping lips.
The water can be purchased at any grocery store by the gallon.
There will always be a small amount of discolor around the tear ducks but this helps wonderfully.
