QuestionMy wife and I were trying to give our Yorkie a trim, but her hair is so fine and thick that the Wahl clippers just will not cut the hair very well. I took a closer look and saw that the thick fur does not enter the fine clipper teeth to cut. The fur just gets pushed back. The clippers are extremely sharp and cut other hair very well.
Is there a brand of clippers that has wider spacing of the teeth that will allow the fur to go in and be cut?
AnswerHello Tim.
The Clippers that i would recommend, that I have used for years and have never let me down are the Andis AGC 2 speed clippers. You can buy different blades to get the desired length that you want. just remember, the larger the blade number, the shorter the hair. When it comes to buying clippers, you get what you pay for.
Here is a link to show you the Andis AGC 2 speed clippers
