Dog Nail Clipping

Question
I have a teacup poodle that will not let me cut her nails.  Do you know of any tools that will keep her immobile?  A friend had said she thought there was some type of cloth sling that can be used to keep a dog elevated so they cannot move their feet, but I have not been able to find one for sale.

Answer
I'm sorry but I don't know of any thing like that.  The only way I know of clipping a difficult dog's nails is by having someone else hold them.  Some dogs are also more behaved if a stranger clips their nails.  There are some dogs, even tiny ones, who just have to be sedated, but with assistance you should be able to get it done.  If all else fails you can usually walk in at a vet or grooming salon to get nails trimmed for a small price.  Good luck.
