dog fur

My dog has longfur .Its weird fur it looks easy but when you go to use any type of brush the fur doesnt let the brush go threw it.I cant figure out what type of brush to use

If you can't get a brush through your dogs coat it is matted and needs to be shaved down. Take it to a professional groomer and have them take care of it for you. Then ask them to give you a demonstration how to properly care for you pets coat.
Tools only work when you use them on a consistent and regular basis, not just when the mood hits you.
Long haired dogs need regular hair cuts and brush outs- not just baths which just causes the hair to matt. Every 4-8 weeks is my suggested calendar.
