Question
My dog Dillon is a 4 year old border collie, cardigan corgi beagle mix sniffs his food and walks away from it. Should I add anything extra such as canned fog food?

Answer
Hi,
I am soooooooo sorry that I didn't respond in a timely fashion. I injured my back and have been out of commission. I wish this stupid Katie or whoever she is would stop with the automated letters...they are disgusting and there is no way to contact her.

I promise you that I will respond to your query tomorrow...please accept my apology for SEEMING to have ignored you--no way.
Nite, Susan

Hello Nicole!!
I really want to help you with your pooch. I truly apologize for not getting back to you soon but I simply could not. And if I don't write something that idiot Katie pops in with a threat that I will be dropped. AND THE WORST PART IS THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO RESPOND TO HER. HOW THE HECK CAN ONE PLAN AN INJURy? It's ridiculous. They have a form where if you are going on vacation or won't be available for a period of time that one fills out but what about emergencies? I resent it so much when I get one of those idiotic "katie letters"..anyhoooooooo...

As far as Dillion goes, there is something in the commercial dog food you are feeding him that does not agree with him.  He is young so he still acts ok but in the long run, I fear that he may get really ill. I would start from scratch and take him off ALL COMMERCIAL DOG FOOD. Commercial dog food, ALL OF IT, is loaded with preservatives, dyes, CHEMICALLY PRODUCED INGREDIENTS etc...NO MATTER HOW "HIGH END' the dog food. Truly, you need to start over with Dillon and you should see a big difference. Does he have diarrhea or does he vomit?? If not, then great. But if his poop isn't looking that great then he is already on his way or experiencing digestive problems. This is why I want you to start over and homecook (very, very easy) for him. If you think this is something you would be willing to do, write back and let me know. I do not want to map out a whole regime for ou if homecooking is not something that you have time for or can't make time for, ok?

I have a marverlous reference for you also who can plan Dillon's meals and make perfect sense out of things. Since she is my mentor and since I credit her with saving my Yorkies digestive life, I never hesitate to recommend her. She is a master in nutrition and supplementation and you will never look back. SHE DOES NOT CHARGE TO HELP YOU EITHER--SHE SIMPLY ADORES DOGS. Of couse, I can help you also and will if that is the way you want to go.

Please let me know what you want to do. I cannot recommend any commercial foods for Dillion because I  believe that that is exactly what his problem is. And  you didn't tell me exactly what you are feeding him anyway.

I would prefer that you write to my email address but if you don't want to then just respond here. My email is:  dazzlindaawg@aol.com

I hope I hear from you as I would love Dillion to love eating again...DOGS SHOULD LOVE TO EAT. Sue
