Westie has lost pigment on nose; Lavender Products for pets; NuVET ;

Question
I have a 4 yr old Westie, Adopted from a Shelter, When I first got her her nose and around her eyes and paws were all black. Now she seems to have lost the pigment around those areas, I've done a bit of research and they seem to say it's because of a lack of Sun. I take her out every day, twice a day, sometimes three. Vet say's its not unusual, but I'm not convinced because she also has this coughing thing she does, that sounds like she is throwing up but she never does hack up anything. I'm not sure but I think when I spray and or clean around the house with detergents and such, it gets worse. What do you think? Is it related?

Hi Westie Mom!  The pigment color is many times genetic in nature.  Not much you can do about that.  Don't worry, it's not serious.

As for the coughing, I wonder if you are dealing with allergies?  ( Environmental)
