2 year old lab with diabetes;

Question
my female lab has been diagnosed with diabetes. the vet said to feed her hill's w/d and insulin 2 times a day. what cooked food diet can i feed her and what amount? she is pooping 5 or 6 times a day on the w/d. is there any other commercial dog food she could eat? she used to eat castor and pollux organix and loved it!(with a couple tablespoons of chicken breast on top) thank you!

Hi Linda,  Yes, Most vets will tell you to use the Hill's RX dog foods.
