I am so sorry, I didn't see the follow up question you asked.

For homemade diets:  There are some really good one's on the internet.  I like a chicken based homemade diet using brown rice, veggies, some yogurt and sweet potato.  I take chicken and cook it (save juices) mix in some cooked brown rice, some carrots, peas, sweet potato and pour the juice over and serve.  The yogurt can be given with some cut apples for a snack after the meal.
