puppy wont eat

I just brought home our new chi-poo rescue puppy yesterday. She's 5months old and will not eather food. The place was giving her purina puppy so that's what we got for her but she just won't eat it. I tried mixing a little soft food in and she just licks it off of the hard food. I'm not sure if this is a serious issue or not. I didn't want to give her all soft food cause I know its not all that great for them (bad breathe, tarter, ect.) But I feel like soft food is the only thing she will eat. Hellp =/

I would give her a day or two.  Everything could be too new for her.  Giving her the soft food could only lead to problems ever getting her on a good diet.  If she isn't eating by Monday, post back, you may want to see a vet.  Not eating a day or 2 won't hurt her at all.
