Paco is growing up

Hi Beth,
I thought you might like to know how Paco is doing after having so much trouble with him. He is now really starting to grow up. I was afraid in the beginning that he would be very submissive even though he was self assured. In the last few weeks he has started to let other dogs know he was not pleased with their behaviour and bites without being agressive, just to say "we are not ammused". However, he still behaves peculiar with my friends' Labrador but I think this Labrador has really hurt him when he was still very young. He, Paco, is such fun, well behaved, obedient,  walking well on leash and absolutely reliably housetrained.
I am privileged to have him as my friend.

BUT....he still has this "thing" with airplanes and furiously runs after them, yelling and screaming, like a madman.

He is now 19 months old.

I'm so glad you gave me an update.  I'm very proud of you for sticking it out even when things were particularly tough with Mr. Paco.  So many people just give up.

I received my new foster dog last weekend who had spent her first 5 yrs of life as a puppymill breeder dog.  Once I get her health straightened around, she's going to make someone a lovely pet.
