yorkie/pomeranian mix being home alone

Question
i am getting a yorkie/pomeranian mix puppy my question is is it okay to leave that kind of breed dog home alone for 6 to 7 hour while im working.
also i have the option of getting a schnauzer/pomeranian mix puppy i think i may like yorkie/pomeranian mix more whats your suggestion on the best dog for me. i want a small lap dog that likes to be held and not to hard to train.

Hi Christina,
It does not seem fair for any puppy to be left alone this long of a time daily?
If you get the puppy of choice and I feel Yorkie mix might be a bit better, have a family member or friend go in and take the pup out for a walk and play with it for an hour to break up the long hours alone.
You will most likely get some long hair from the Pom. to brush daily?  My mother used to always have a Pom and she would never take good care of the coat and it looked bad.
I wish you the best with your new friend, just try and get it exercised daily.
