mini schnauzer

hi, ive purchased a mini schnauzer who is 5 months old now and appaers to be in season. Is this usual? i'm very happy with her. she is my first schnauzer and i'm amazed at how clever she is

It is not unusual for a small dog to come into season early.
You had better watch her closely, keep doggie diesties on her and during the last week of the 21 day cycle is when she can be bred, she is too young and it only takes a few seconds for a male to creep up and grab her.
