Toy Fox Terrier spots

Hi Beth..
my toy fox terrier, she is 5 months old and she has had these dark spots on her belly since she was about 4 months old...these spots are like a dark brown in color and they are all under her on her belly...and they are a few on the inside of her hind legs and they are on her but 2...but the majority of them are on her belly...can you tell me what this is?

They are most likely nothing to worry about. It is common for the short haired terrier breeds to have spots on their skin. In fact I had someone ask me if my jack russell were part dalmation because of the dark spots on his skin...
