bleeding ear

hi i have a staff bull terrier (m) 1 year old.   he recently went to the vets for a rash (dry skin) on his pad which caused him to limp when he was walking , they told me he had exma , i have now noticed he has a bloody sort of rash on the inside of his ear which he yelps when he scratches it any ideas   regards jason

There are a couple of things it could be. It could be more eczema or it also could be ear mites.  Either one is something the vet needs to see to make sure he gets the right diagnosis and medication.

Make sure you keep him on flea preventative because that wil usually also help prevent ear mites.
