breeding my Australian Shepherd

hi, my aussie just turned 6 months old and my family and i want to breed him. i heard that 2 years is the "right" age but i was wondering if maybe we could try sooner?

Well, you're asking in the terrier section, but my response is that you have a lot of research to do before you breed your dog if you do not know the answer to your own question.

Please get a couple of books and read up on the process and requirements. There are more than enough dogs already in this world.
