Yorkies Ears

Question
I just read your piece on taping yorkies ears...
1st paragraph says to  use masking tape inside the ear.
2nd paragraph says to use duct tape inside.
Which one do I use? Plus, when you say tape over top, are you referring to around the ear itself, and lengthen long enough to wrap around ear? I'm better with pictures...so please forgive my lack of imagination.

Answer
Hi,
Sorry I don't remember answering a question like that.  No matter.  I use "mole skin"  and "tear mender" glue.  Cut the mole skin to the shape of the inside of the ear and glue it in.  Let it stay till it falls off, about 2 weeks if possible.  If the dog is over a year old then the ears have already set and usually can't be fixed to stand.

Good luck,
Tammy
