Introducing puppy yorkie to a 10 yr old yorkie

Question
Hi there!  I have a 10yr old male yorkie who is EXTREMELY spoiled.  Last week I  purchased a 3 month old male yorkie and for the past week I have been slowly introducing them at parks etc.  My parents have the puppy at their house right now because Rocky (10yr old) wants no part of Mocha (3mo old).  Will they eventually be ok or will this never work?  I had both dogs home with me for the wkd and I thought there would surely be some blood shed.  The little one doesn't back down and the last thing I want is for Rocky to cause Mocha to be vicious.  Are there some tricks to getting them to co-habitate - even if they don't LOVE each other - can they live together or is this just a lost cause?  It's totally my fault that Rocky is the way he is - he was my first pet ever and I TOTALLY did all the wrong things with him - - babying, rocking him to sleep, taking him EVERYWHERE with me.  I will NOT do that with Mocha - IF I'm going to be able to keep him.  Please help!  I love them both and want desperately for this to work out.
Thanks so much!!

Answer
I have older dogs and puppies together.  Let them work it out.  The older one WILL put the puppy in his place without going over the edge. I suggest that you crate the puppy several times during the day. A
3 months old is still a baby and babies need rest and that gives the older one time to rest himself.  He doesn't have to be on guard about baby jumping on him.

Its a wonderful thing called "Nature"!  Wish the world would learn from our furry friends.

Good luck!
