Training YorkiePoo

Question
I am having much difficulty training my YorkiePoo.  She will go outside sometimes, and then come in and dirty in the house.  She will also urinate and poop in her crate.  Have had to give her baths after each episode.  Help!!!  She will stay dry and clean from about 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.  She sleeps in a tiny corner in my room (no crate)that is closed in.

How much time is the dog left to do her business? Are you out with her or is she left on her own?  Is her crate small enough that she can get up, turn around and lay down?  

These are all things you have to ask.....The time she is outside really needs to be enough time to do her business.

I start my dogs going outside with me there.  I put a name with the action.  Go potty, go potty, go potty....then when she does it you would think it as the biggest party on the block.  GOOD DOG, GOOD POTTY!!!  Keep a leash on her when she is in the house and you are watching her.  When she starts to posture to pee or poo you can usually tell.  Take the lead and tell her NO in a STERN voice and promptly take her outside where she will stay till she finishes.

She has to EAT all meals in her crate, she has to SLEEP in her crate at night, not on your bed or in a corner of your room.  It HAS to be small enough that she can't poop in one corner and sleep in the other.  She has to make that her "Den".

Being consistant is the key.  You can't let her get away with it one time and not the next.
