Throwing up

Question
I am the proud owner of a 15 year young female Jack Russel Terrier. She eats well, urinates and poops regularly. She is apparently in perfect health. Every morning she has to out and throw up a little what seems to be bile ( yellow ) Just a small amount. After that she is fine for the rest of the day. This has been going on for many months with no apparent ill effects. Any idea why that happens, Her diet has been the same for all those years. ( Science Diet )  Thank you

Answer
HI JACQUES.
IT COULD BE HER AGE, MANY SMALL THINGS COULD BE CAUSING THIS BUT IF SHE COMES IN OK, I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT BEING AN AGED DOG.
IF SHE IS EATING, IT MIGHT BE WHAT HAS NOT TOTALLY DIGESTED AND I OFTEN DO THIS BECAUSE OF ACID IN MY STOMACH.  YOU MIGHT GIVE HER A TSP OF PEPTO TO SOOTH HER STOMACH THE NIGHT BEFORE, SEE IF SHE QUITS.
IT IS KINDA LIKE DOGS EATING LONG GRASS THEN EMPTYING THE STOMACH OF FLEM ETC.  I WOULD NOT BE TOO WORRIED ABOUT IT.
