nose rash?

Hello-

I am an owner of a blue nose american bull terrier. He is 2 years old. last night i had noticed that his skin around his nose and mouth area were a pinkish/red color (fur on face is white). i also noticed that his gums and inner lip are this same shade of color. he acts ok and is still playfull but this morning it was gone. well again tonight it seems to be back.i looked every where but he has not got into anything that would make this color. today i took him for a walk about an hour after he ate and he vomited some of his food up. again, he acts and plays fine. any idead what this could be or what i should do?

it is difficult to tell u what it is unless i see it myself but from what u are saying i will make some comments, just a few things .... take note that there is no hair loss in the areas, is he trying to scratch the area ? does he pull away when u touch it ? if the answer is no to the above then what i would do is to apply a antifungal cream twice daily to the areas but very little as he will try and lick / rub it off. it may also be a good idea to visit your local vet to have a look as i am sure he will be able to diagnose the problem and tell u what the best method will be to cure it. other than that i will keep a close eye on it as it does not sound too serious but as soon as u see a change in the condition u MUST take him to a vet to be treated before it becomes a major problem that will be expencive to treat and could cause discomfort to him.
