Pita My chihuahua rat terrier mix

Pita was abused when i got her and she is 6 or 7 i believe, they werent exactly sure how old she was but i've had her for almost 3 years now and she is my world!
My mom has had her and since then went into heat and my mom says there was a black Lab hanging around the house and she looks slightly bigger in the belly than usual my first question is: is it even possible to get pregnant by a black lab because she is such a small dog? And secondly if she goes through the pregnancy could it kill her because the puppies will be huge? Im so scared for her and i feel its my fault she faces this issue. I called the vet but for all i know they will tell me the most expensive thing to do even if its not the thing to do i just thought you would have a easy explanation for me.

Sorry - no easy answers.  It is possible, I suppose for her to get preggers from a lab, though I would also have expected she would be injured if they tried it.

You should take her to the vet to be spayed anyway and they will tell you if she's pregnant.  You really need to have her spayed - It helps them live longer and you do not have to worry about her going into heat.
