Question
Hello,
I have a male yorkshire terrier who is 14 months old. When i take him to the groomer he goes into this panic attack. Hes trying to escape, crying and now drooling. He has only been to this one groomer but im starting to think he was possible hurt. Should I change groomers??

Answer
Beautiful name Khadiyah!
short answer is RUN from this groomer. Doesn't even matter why but get your dog away from that situation.
I have no idea why he behaving that way but it is a waving red flag to go elsewhere.
Frankly if at all possible try to find someone to do it in your home. This is exactly the kind of dog that benefits from home grooming.
Watch what goes on the first time from a discreet distance and if it goes well you can blame the salon environment. If he reacts badly at home as well- blame the gene pool although he will certainly be more comfortable at home regardless.
Speak with your local vet- they usually have a list of recommended people they work with.
