terrier of mixed parentage (Staffordshire?)

Question
We have an adorable sweet girl who came to us 15 months ago from a local rescue centre.  She's about 3 years and near as we can tell english staffordshire bull terrier crossed with labrador or similar.  She looks a bit scary - but isn't.  Our problem is that we are moving to France and have heard all sorts of horror stories of how dogs which 'might' have some american pit bull heritage are euthanased unless they can prove otherwise - and of course we can't prove her heritage because we don't know it.  Either we re-home our lovely girl - which we don't want to do as we love her dearly - or find a way to refute any american pit bull heritage.  Is there some sort of DNA test or something we could have?  Any advice very welcome, and thanks in advance for your time.

I can imagine the feelings this situation might cause.  However, I do not know the answer to this question.
