Question
I have a 4 year old, nuetered Yorshire terrior. He is 6 pounds. He lives in my 4 bedroom home with my husband and myself and 1 cat,who sometimes he terrorizes also. I socialized him by the book, but at about 14 months of age,he became very aggressive to all other dogs,no matter the size, and will chase people or other animals, tail wagging, just to bite them.It is worse if I am around. He will also bite me if I try to take away something he is not suppose to have, like underwear .
He also will mark with urine if he seems mad-

He was born with a bladder infection that went unnoticed for about 3 months, the vets did not think he could have had one. Also has terrible allergies,to chicken, some other foods as well as grasses. He is on and off both prescription medications and over the counter benedryl year round for it,it barely helps. He has had shots of corizone as well as taked predizone ,neither stopped the itching.

I am far more concerned with this biting-I am afraid when my grown children have babies,I will not be able to have them in my house due to the dog-Right now, only a select few can come in to my house and even touch him.He can be as loving as ever, but then,he gets protective-

Thank you-
Dede

Answer
Hi Dede
This dog should of been returned to the Breeder for replacement he has some real issues u might not be able to get in tack with.
I am sorry to say but this dog has genetic problems the Breeder should take on as a responsible breeder and replace this dog from another totally different litter for you if they are good breeders t0 d0 this for u?
This dog will only get worse and I do not advise any kind of help in training him for all of this is genetic and it is up to the Breeder to replace for a better pet for you in place of this bad one bred, and the parents of it should not be used again also, and tell them this it is unfair to the breed to pass these problems on for all others to also get if they care about what they are doing in breding, tell them I said so and quit now with this pair of breeders.
It is so wrong for people like u to get a bad dog from genetics and the
Breeder must take responsibliity of stopping this and u tell them I said so NOW.
it is very unfair to sell pups from poor pairs of patents like this, sorry to be so blunt but this is Patt.

Kind regards
Patt
