Anal gland on a Bull Terrier

Hi autumn, thank you for your time. I have a bull terrier (Watson) and he will excrete that metallic smelling liquid from his anis. I was wondering if you could tell me how to do that for him during his weekly bath so I could prevent him from doing it in the house. Do you even recommend me try or is this something that only a groomer or vet should do? Thanks again for your time and have a good day!

well i certainly suggest having a pro do it, and then having them show you hand  over hand how to do it. i have never personally ran into this problem, and wouldnt want to instruct you on sqeezing the wrong thing ; )  just take him on up to the vet have them show you, and get some suggestions on how to further prevent this.. good luck!
