Question
hello thier my name is jenny i currently have a deposit on a dog which is suppose to be a "teacup yorkie" the breeder is suppose to give it to me august 18 when it is two months. how do i know if this dog is going to grow up to be a teacup yorkie

Answer
Jenny -

The only way to tell is to look at the parents.

That said, just know that the "teacup" label means that it has been bred to make it abnormally small..... and these dogs do not fit into the AKC breed standard for yorkies.

Please also know that most reputable breeders will not take puppies from their mother before 10-12 weeks to make sure they get all the lessons that the mother dog has to teach them.

Good luck and enjoy your new baby !
