Pug tongues

Question
The tip of my pug's tongue sticks out the right side of her mouth all the time, about an inch, even when she's sleeping.  She has all her teeth and is not panting at the time.  I've seen other Pugs who do this too.  It does not seem to bother her, but I worry her tongue will dry out or that it may be a sympton of some other problem.

Answer
Some pugs just have longer tongues due to their genetics. She will be fine and as long as she has water available at all times, I would not worry about it being too dry. She should be able to get it wet whenever she needs to.

The tongue will get dry but I have never seen any problems from it.

Thanks and Good luck.
