QuestionMy husband and myself have decided to get a pug. Yesterday I viewed 2 very cute pug puppies: fawn and black. I always wanted a fawn with black mask pug. However, I was a little bit concerned as its nose was not black (more of a dirty cream). Is it ok for a fawn puppy which is 5 weeks old? Will its nose go darker later? Thanks!
AnswerRimma,
I don't think the puppy's nose will get darker. Most fawn pugs have a black mask - than includes the nose. There is a variance in the darkness and amount of black. I have seen some pugs without much black. But this really is not desirable.
But if you are just looking for a pet, the color of the nose really should not matter.
