dark spots

whats going on?listen over the last 2-3 months my fawn colored pug has been getting more n more black spots(change in color) across the top of her coat,tried to find info on internet however came up short handed,she is a little over 4 and very healthy,she is also very well excersised.every now and again i tend to change up her dry food(every couple of monthes or so)wondering if it could possibly be a allergic reaction?anyhow thks again

If the spots are not dry and itchy, I would not worry about it.  Your pug could just be going through some pigment changes.  That is not common, but I do not think it is harmful.  It does not sound like an allergic reaction.

If you notice that it is itchy or irritated, you should see a vet and have her skin checked out.
