male vs. female

My husband and i will be getting our first pug this summer and i was wondering if there is a personality differenc between a male and female pug. Does one train better? And if i neuter my mal pug will he still mark his territory? Please help!

I don't notice a lot of differences in personalities with male vs. female pugs.  Pugs are pretty even natured.

Dog socialization experts say that males make better pets, but I think that is necessarily true with pugs.

If you have a male neutered before he matures (around 6 months old), he should not mark his territory.
