licking and sniffing

QUESTION: my pug will be 2 in july and she has a habit of licking and smelling everything . she is always licking the furniture. why is that?

I think it is just a habit like you said.  I don't know of any reason that your pug would lick furniture.

Maybe she is bored.  Try getting some chew toys or bones for her and see if that helps.

QUESTION: ok but she has plenty of toys! and it seems that it right before she goes to sleep. and what about the sniffing. she is constantly sniffing i never seen a dog sniff stuff so much

I don't think there is anything wrong with your pug.  For some reason she has picked up this habit.  You could try spraying something like Febreze on the fabric to take away any odor that is there.  There may be some odor there that she likes.  If you change or take the odor away, she will probably stop.
