please could you tell me how long pugs are on heat for and how often. thanx

The average heat (pre-breeding) is 10 days.  That is the time that there is bleeding.  Then there are a few days that breeding can take place.

The average time between heats is 6 months.

These are just averages.  All dogs are different and some breeds are especially way off from the norm.  Pugs are pretty average.
