HACKING PUG

Question
my pug has been quaking like a duck sound, i took her to the vet and they gave her steroids. she does not sound any better what do you suggest i do next? she also sounds like she is gagging

Did your vet check to make sure she doesn't have something lodged in her throat?  Is she eating and drinking fine?

You could try an expectorant (the people kind).  Just give her the child dosage.  

Beyond that, it sounds like something your vet will have to take care of.
