licks all the time

Our pug licks all the time.  If she isn't licking our feet or hands she is sitting licking the air.  Why is that?

Wish I knew. Some pugs just do that. Sometimes I think it is a nervous habit and sometimes I think it has to do with sinus drainage. Does your pug have allergies (licking its paws)? If so, it needs to be on an antihistamine(check with your vet.)

We have one pug now that licks the air non stop when she is stressed or excited. After she calms down she stops.
