my male pug

i have a 16month old male pug i have had since he was a puppy...the problem is that we also have a femal black lab who is in heat...the pug cries and whines and barkes all the time what can i do to stop him?he is doing this at nite also and we keep them apart

Get him neutered and get her spayed ASAP.

Having intact pets is taking a chance with their life. The female can have unwanted puppies, get pyometra (uterine infection) and mammary tumors. The male is more prone for testicular cancer, marking, fighting and getting attacked.

I really recommend altering both your pets. That is the only sure fire way to keep this from occurring.
