constipated puppy

my 3 month old puppy is having trouble pooping the past few days when she does goes it  is very slow and hard and sometimes just gives up on going. what can i do?

What are you feeding her? Have you had her checked for worms?

Give her a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of canned pumpkin, NOT THE PUMPKIN PIE MIX, with each meal and see if that helps. But I would have my vet check her out to make sure she does not have worms or some other medical problem.
