Coughing in 10 yr old black pug

Question
Her age is approximate from our vet. She had a uterine tumor removed in June and it took 2 months for her to recover. She now is recovering from a urinary tract infection (4 days of meds left) and is coughing a lot and moving very stiffly and slowly. The vet heard no fluid around her heart. I just don't have hundreds of dollars for various tests, xrays, ultrasounds, etc.

Sorry to hear about your pug!!!

Sounds like she is just failing.  Maybe she is older than 10.

Really, the best thing you can do is keep her comfortable.  Even if you spent a lot of treatment, she would probably just soon start failing again.

I know how hard it is.  Just give her the love you can now and let he be queen of the house!!!
